Versions and builds

Omniscope is available in two release channels:

  • Current (2026.2) – Latest Verified ✅ release, updated approximately every two weeks. Each release passes our comprehensive automated test suite before publication. This is the version we use across our own production services, with the latest features, improvements, and fixes.
  • Rock (2026.1) – Long-Term Support 💎 version, released annually, with additional manual testing and team-approved verification. Features are frozen, with 24 months of support for critical bugs and security fixes. Best for organisations requiring a predictable upgrade cycle.

We develop Omniscope using Continuous Integration, publishing Daily Builds with the newest features and fixes, available for early testing and development.
Once a daily build passes all automated test suites, it can be promoted to Current – Latest Verified ✅, our recommended production-ready release.

Periodically, builds undergo extended human testing and team approval in a Candidate ☘ phase to produce a Rock LTS 💎 release.

Which version should you choose?

For most users, including production servers, we recommend Current. Choose Rock  LTS if you specifically need a feature-frozen release with long-term support.

Both are verified, production-ready releases. The difference is their release frequency, additional human verification, and support policy.
